Why this is the perfect year for the Bills to draft a QB...

We all know there is no sure-thing, Andrew Luck/RG3 type of quarterback in the draft this year. But I think that's perfect for the Bills. Let's face it - KC, Jacksonville, Oakland, Philly, Cleveland and Arizona would have drafted such a QB before we had a chance, even trading up to do so if necessary. Now KC went Alex Smith, Jax and Oak are probably waiting until at least round 2, Philly is rolling with Vick, Cleveland with McWeeden, and Arizona with Drew Stanton?

Ok, so one of those teams will probably take a QB. But at least it gives us a shot at the #1 or #2 QB on the board. And for those who say wait until next year, I don't think the Bills will go 2-14. There are always worse, QB-needy teams than us.

That's why I believe this is the perfect year for the Bills to draft our franchise QB. Personally, the QB's I like are Barkley, Manuel and Scott. I would avoid the rest like the plague because they don't have "it". I may love their physical tools, but that's not enough. So I would take Barkley at #8, trade to the late first round for Manuel, or use our 3rd rounder on Scott.

Thoughts?
