I think the Bills are trying their hand at Sabermetrics, with Nix cast as Billy Beane and Marrone as Art Howe.

1. Find Players undervalued by market, see Lawson, not necessarily undervalued but maybe a value compared to Krueger and Ellerbee

2. Don't open your wallet; see LeVitre, Wilson

3. Be patient, there will be players to sign just prior and following the draft.at a reduced cost.

4. Put a team together that will be competitive on the field, we'll know that answer by Halloween.
