I am obviously a big fan of Matt Barkley, and believe he is a franchise QB - as I have previously stated.

For the sake of discussion I wanted to point out the name of QBs in the 2014 NFL Draft

5. David Fales - Saint Jose State - 6'3'' 220lbs - Senior
6. AJ McCarron - Alabama - 6'4'' 210lb - Senior
7. Logan Thomas - Vtech - 6'6'' 260lb - Senior
8. Derek Carr - Fresno St. - 6'3'' 205lb - Senior

Thoughts on Matt Flynn? Well tutored in west coast offense. Essentially still a fresh QB . He may be released, or we could trade a 7th rd pick for him? Best case scenario - he works out and becomes a franchise passer. Worst case scenario - He doesn't work out, we release him, draft in 2014 draft. Just a thought.

One last point - For the most part I think Buffalo Rumblings does a great job with discussions, however sometimes I read comments that are rude and unnecessary such as "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? OR like You are absolutely WRONG." The draft is an exciting time - but quite frankly it's anyone's guess as to its outcome. If someone presents a valid argument and opinion - be cool about it, don't be a jerk.
