Given that LB is one of the Bills greatest needs, why not kick the tires on Urlacher? Even if we end up overpaying him (and if that happens, he won't be the only underpaid guy on the squad), why not make him the center of an otherwise much younger, completely rebuilt LB corps?

He's a cold weather guy, doesn't strike me as a guy that would rather be the centerpoint of an average team than a role player on a contender.

Wouldn't you think that 2 years, $10M would be enough to get the conversation going with his camp?
