The Buffalo Bills worked out Geno Smith in West Virginia on Friday.

Gregg Rosenthal makes sure to say that "active" in free agency means "winners" at this point, but that September is a different story. Rosenthal questioned Leodis McKelvin and Manny Lawson's "big money" contracts, while I question his definition of "big money".

"A person familiar with what happened told The Associated Press that Smith's workout took place on campus in the morning. The person added the former Mountaineer had dinner the previous night with general manager Buddy Nix, assistant GM Doug Whaley, coach Doug Marrone and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett."
