2013 NFL Draft: Kyle Juszczyk to visit Buffalo Bills, per report

USA TODAY Sports

A college tight end, the productive Juszczyk is being scouted as an H-back and lead blocker for the pro game.

The Buffalo Bills will be hosting an H-back among the team's 30 pre-2013 NFL Draft visitors, according to a report from Tony Pauline. Kyle Juszczyk of Harvard will meet with the Bills among 12 total visits, according to the report.

The 6'1", 248-pound Juszczyk was primarily a tight end at Harvard, and brings receiving skills to the table; in his four years with the Crimson, he caught 125 passes for 1,452 yards and 22 touchdowns. His size will prevent him from playing tight end at the NFL level, but teams are looking at him as a potential H-back that can line up in the backfield as a lead blocker and catch passes from that alignment.

Juszczyk is a good athlete: at his pro day, he clocked a 4.71-second 40-yard dash, threw up 24 bench press reps, and had good marks in jumping drills (37 inches in the vertical jump, 10'1" in the broad jump). The West Coast offense brought in by Doug Marrone and Nathaniel Hackett is expected to increase the role of the fullback, which could make Juszczyk an interesting mid- to late-round target for the Bills.

Buffalo has officially disclosed the names of 23 visitors that have completed their trips to this point, and Juszczyk is now among five prospects that will reportedly visit in the near future. A maximum of 30 pre-draft visits are allowed per team.
