I am not an expert about the process the NFL uses to make schedules, but wouldn't it be interesting (and mutually beneficial) if instead of making the Bills sacrifice a home game to have a game in Toronto, the league allowed us to play a team and the game would count as an away game for both teams?
I guess this might cost the Bills some of the money they receive in order to relocate a home game (I am guessing the league would try to get their hands on more of the cash), but couldn't this be just as beneficial? It would allow us to keep a full 8 home games and still do some "regionalization".
I am guessing that the only requirement would be that it would have to be a non-divisional opponent.
Is this even possible?
