It is a rare occurrence when a 4 year signal caller, his former college coach and a QB needy club with a high enough draft pick all intersect. Given the likely scenario that the Bills have Nassib to choose at 8, might not using that pick on him signal something to the other teams selecting soon after the Bills (like the Jets)? While each team tries to be true to their own draft board, passing on him would give a clear sign that the men that know Nassib best believe he is not a reasonable value at 8 or even the middle of round 1. This could dissuade some teams from reaching for him until later in the 1st or 2nd rounds that may otherwise be inclined. Although he probably will be gone by the 41st selection, I wouldn't worry about the teams picking immediately after the Bills. Of course, trading down may change the dynamic somewhat, but the message is still clear.
