Well, I know we have all been gushing over Da'rick Rogers but I was just reading some other sites on UDFA's and one guy who some people have been gushing over is Brandon Kaufman. Yes, he doesn't fit into the theme of the draft with blazing speed, but he seems to fit perfectly into the go up and get him receiver Nix specified he wanted. He is 6'5, 216 pounds and ran a 4.6 oh, I forgot to say, he had super glue for hands. Some of the tape that I have found on him has been just plain awesome, he is like the receiver we wished James Hardey would be. I'll throw up some of the videos.
Warning Red Turf May Burn Retinas.
This is a highlight reel thats 10 minutes long of him just making diving catches from a pretty terrible QB:
Here is him against Wagner, but the CB he was going up against seemed extremely competitive and fought every catch Kaufman was attempting, but Kaufman shows concentration and just awesome hands
These last two are just deal breakers for me. He lays out for both and just makes 2 phenomenal diving catches and another just unbelieveable concentration play.
Concentration: (comme onn man- the announcer)
Someone calling him a 3rd round pick with tons more videos on the guy:
In conclusion, I tried to find the Eastern Washington vs Washington game where he played against the 22nd overall pick, Desmond Trufant to see what happened, but I couldn't find it. He had 14 catches for 140 yards. The head coach Sarkisian was quoted as saying, "Number 1 put a receiving clinic on us today." I'm (not so) quietly excited for the kid.
