seriously! if the bills front office haven't considered making this guy some sort of offer they should be crucified, I'm well aware that the guy has had multiple knee surgeries so before somebody jumps to let me in on that closely guarded secret you can save it, those surgeries were before the guy proved to be ultra productive in his limited opportunity last season (almost 40 catches, 700 yards and 7 TDs in half a season). I'm not particularly worried about his health, but even if i were concerned about the longevity of his knees, the guy is due to get paid less than 500 grand next year! you could make him almost any type of contract offer... 1,2 or 3 years whatever, you could offer this guy less than a million dollars and still be paying him twice what the chargers will be next season (think about that for a second!) and if he accepts your offer you'd give the chargers nothing in return because he was tendered at the undrafted level. i can't understand why a team as desperately thin at the receiver position as the bills are wouldn't take another look at this guy (we had him in for a cup of coffee last year) he is exactly the type of receiver buddy nix looks for, he's got the size 6'5", 220 pounds, athleticism (almost 18 yards per reception) and has proven to be productive and you could probably have him for less than 1 percent of the salary cap! the worst that could come out of making him an offer is he turns it down or that the chargers match and he accepts their offer.
The only other reasons i can think of that the bills aren't looking at this guy is because nix passed on him last year and now refuses to admit that he may have made a mistake or that it is as PFT suggests it may be, a case of the league colluding and having an unwritten agreement to leave each others UFAs alone. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/06/restricted-free-agency-market-still-nonexistent/
what do you think fellow rumblers,
