Let's hope so -- although, Whaley has had his own communications issues recently.
Whaley gained unwanted notoriety in 2007 when an inappropriate e-mail that he had sent to Steelers assistant coach Larry Zierlein was inadvertently forwarded by Zierlein to a large number of high-level NFL employees, including commissioner Roger Goodell. Zierlein apologized for the gaffe, and it is believed that neither he nor Whaley were disciplined by the team or the the league.
Per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the inappropriate e-mail contained pornography . . .
(No, the above link does not contain the e-mail contents.)
I suggest that Nix and Whaley be limited to face-to-face and/or handwritten letters for all communication outside OBD; it may save them -- and us -- future embarassment. LOL.
