Hello kind Buffalo Rumblings patrons!
You might have seen the score, maybe saw some highlights from our game last week against the Seattle Seahawks. While we lost 12-7, there were still some positives to take from the game...
Most notably, our defense played quite well and our QB showed that he can play a different style than what we're accustom to seeing. Cam was more of a game-manager Sunday, throwing very few passes downfield (as is usually his M.O.), and trying to move the chains more consistently against a tough Seattle defense.
While some Panthers fans criticized our O.C's more conservative play-calling, I was impressed at Newton's patience and steadiness. In the end -- we lost. And we have a nasty habit of taking a lead into the late-third/fourth quarter, only to pee it away with fumbles, penalties or inane game-management.
This game was no different, as we were inside the 10 yard line with six minutes to go, but we fumbled the football. Seattle recovered and we never got the ball back.
But that's enough about me. If you have a question about the Panthers, or if you're curious about the outside perception of your team, get in here and ask away.
Here's to a fun, injury-free game on Sunday!
