Redzone success is huge for obvious reasons. But 3rd down success is also important. Everyone is talking about killing the clock when you have a lead with 5min left or slowing down the uptempo off. But I think Chandler is no help this type of offense. I dont think hes a bad TE, he is great in the red zone. But his lack of speed stalls the uptempo. We went 4 for 13 on 3rd downs. We cant run out the clock if we cant convert. His penaltys show that he is over his head in the uptempo offense. We are limited with our playcalling with him on the field. They should never throw a short pass to very slow TE on 3rd and long. We dont have access to a TE screen with him out there. 3rd down success will not be good if hes out on the field .
