Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Spor

With injuries mounting and a bad game leaving a sour taste in their mouth, the Buffalo Bills met the media yesterday.

Doug Marrone: "Am I disappointed? Absolutely." - BuffaloBills.com

Doug Marrone's press conference is enlightening. He says the new cornerbacks will be out there this week and they aren't afraid to use them. He is certain Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus will play. It's a good read/watch.

T.J. Graham: 'I was running by the guy all day' - Press Coverage | The Buffalo News

"I was running by the guy all day. They tried to use the sideline to squeeze us, but if you can run by them, then you have the whole field in front of you," Graham said. "We're a very young team. I'm not trying to make excuses, but there's times when we're learning from that. Maybe next week. It's early in the season now. We've got plenty of games to make up for it."

Alex Carrington out for the season - BuffaloBills.com
"Alex Carrington unfortunately had a torn quad tendon, which will put him out for the year," said Marrone. "He’ll have surgery today."

From the booth: Bills at Jets - BuffaloBills.com
"Right now we’re at 50% and that’s what hurt us at the end of the day," Marrone said after reviewing the video Monday. "We wound up kicking three field goals and we weren’t able to convert them into touchdowns. That’s what we need to do to win. That’s basically it in a nutshell."

Eric Wood: "We kind of threw it away" - BuffaloBills.com
"Bills center Eric Wood addressed the media Monday morning to talk about the team coping with their recent injuries and what he saw from the Jets defense."

Bills Focus: Needing to Execute - VIDEO - BuffaloBills.com
"The Bills will have to overcome injuries after Sunday's game and they need to execute better to win tight games on the road."

Inside The Bills | Fred has top rated run of the week
"Fred Jackson’s 59-yard run in a losing effort Sunday turned out to be the top rated run play of the week. His second effort 3rd-and-1 carry earned top marks."

Inside The Bills | Bryant likely to see most of Carrington snaps
"At 6’4″ and 300 pounds, Bryant most resembles Carrington’s physical skill set in terms of athleticism for a big man. He was already working in on Buffalo’s defensive line as a rotational player in Week 2. Against Carolina he played 17 snaps and this past Sunday long before Carrington was hurt, he got 20 snaps of work."

Inside The Bills | CBs Burton, Adams likely to see action Sunday
"This week we’re going to find out," said Marrone Monday. "We’re going to put them out there. We’re going to take a look at it. We definitely feel comfortable about being able to put them out there. When you get out there and you start practicing and the bullets are flying we’ll see how they perform in those situations.

Bills notebook: Carrington’s season ends with surgery - The Buffalo News
"Carrington had started only six games in the first three seasons of his career, but was being counted on to play a big role this year in the first season under new coordinator Mike Pettine. Carrington started each of the first three games, and played 63 percent of the defensive snaps (107 of 170) against the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers in the first two weeks."

Beaten bunch fails to hide its frustration - The Buffalo News
"Well, the fates aren’t cooperating just yet. The injury bug is ravaging the Bills again. A dozen members of the active roster are nursing a variety of hurts. During Sunday’s loss at the Jets, a half-dozen starters left the game with injuries at one point or another."

Bills, EJ looking for answers - The Buffalo News
"EJ Manuel was not up to the task. The rookie quarterback could not beat the Jets’ aggressive, blitz-heavy scheme, which few teams have executed better in recent seasons. New York dared the Bills to beat man-to-man press coverage by completing throws down the sideline."

WGR 550 SportsRadio - SIMON: Bills Made Me Shout...obscenities!
"What a difference a week makes. As energized as I was last Monday by the Bills come from behind victory over the Carolina Panthers, I was as deflated by yet another debacle at the hands of the New York Jets in the Meadowlands."

WGR 550 SportsRadio - Bills' Spiller Says Injury Shouldn't Keep Him Out Sunday
"A little sore but shouldn't be nothing that will keep me out this week," he said when asked how he felt. "As of right now, the plan is to see how it feels doing stuff, doing some treatment and doing everything necessary that I need to do to make sure that I'm ready. But come Wednesday or Thursday, ultimately the decision needs to be made -- more Thursday -- about if I'll be able to go. But, I think I should be good."

Buffalo Bills' report card vs. New York Jets - ESPN
I think Mike Rodak is overly generous with his grades this week. C+ for the run defense and a C- for pass defense? The Bills gave up over 500 yards on defense and coaching gets a B-?

Upon Further Review: Bills Week 3 - ESPN
"Marathon of a game: At 3 hours, 33 minutes, this was the longest Bills game in at least their past three seasons. Much of that, of course, is due to the Jets' 20 penalties, as well as their two challenges, and two booth reviews. Meanwhile, the Bills tied a team record with eight first downs off Jets penalties. They last "achieved" that feat in 1987."

WGR 550 SportsRadio - Time Warp
"Hear that hissing sound? That is the air leaking out of our community balloon. There are plenty of different things that could frustrate a Bills fan over the years. An all too familiar one is watching the Bills lose to a team that we're all pretty sure isn't that good. The Jets team that beat the Bills on Sunday came in with no real playmakers to fear on offense and a rookie quarterback at the controls."

Suddenly, it looks like Bills have problems - Olean Times Herald: Sports
"The Jets were just begging to be beaten on Sunday afternoon at Met Life Stadium."

Bills’ Eric Wood calls performance vs. Jets "terrible" | ProFootballTalk
"Just a lot of mistakes on offense, and red-zone execution was terrible," Wood said. "If we score a couple of those times we get down there, it’s a totally different ballgame; we don’t give up six sacks because we’re not getting teed off on in the second half."
