Strength and Conditioning

It is alarming how many injuries the Bills have suffered in the past few seasons. It makes me wonder if players are recieving proper training that will prevent injuries. Surprisingly (or perhaps not surprisingly since we are talking about the Bills) our current Strength and Conditioning coach, Eric Ciano is a holdover from the Gailey/Nix era (perhaps the only one, right?). Injuries were a major problem during that regimes tenure and so far things have not improved.

Ultimately, football is a brutal sport and I am not 100% sure we can blame one individual for these injuries but there have to be effective means to reduce/prevent some of these injuries. Is this Strength and Conditioning staff top notch or were they just a easy/cheap find?

It does seem weird that every other coach was let go but we retained this guy. His record has not looked too good over the years.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
