Alonso's big play game days continue - BuffaloBills.com
" Few on the roster have come up with big plays as frequently as Alonso. In fact with four interceptions on the season Alonso leads the league. He has a takeaway in every games so far this season. Alonso was again a central playmaker Sunday, adding two tackles and three assists, along with several pressure plays on Flacco to force unsuccessful throws. His work on the day found him trending on Twitter at the game’s close, and earning acclamation from statisticians and coaches."

Five INTs lift Bills to tight win over Ravens - BuffaloBills.com
"Five interceptions usually seals a game with ease for the team that records those takeaways, but somehow the defending Super Bowl champions had a chance to tie the game or take the lead with just over a minute remaining. Buffalo had turnovers of their own so it took Joe Flacco’s fifth interception with 57 seconds remaining, and the second of the day by Kiko Alonso, to nail down a hard-fought 23-20 Bills victory over Baltimore."

Inside The Bills | Jackson expects to be ready Thursday
"I sprained my MCL again, but it’s not as significant," said Jackson in reference to the knee injury that forced him to miss two games last season. "Something that we can manage and I expect to play. I’m sore, but I’ll be all right, ready to go."

Inside The Bills | Dareus raises game, inspired by Kyle
"It was just a point of emphasis from Kyle Williams-give everything you have," he said. "He’s going to do it for us, that’s how I always feel like I should play, do the best I can regardless of the situation. Head down, whatever, just keep pushing until the whistle blows. Super Bowl champs-you’ve got to do the best you can. I didn’t know what they had for us, I just wanted to do the best I can."

Inside The Bills | Spiller: It’s just soreness in the ankle
"It’s just soreness in the ankle," said Spiller. "I’ll see how I feel in the morning and do as much training as I can and get ready for Thursday even though it’s a short week. It’s going to be tough but I’m going to do everything on my end to be in a position to be ready to play."

Bills’ pick-off artists stop Flacco, Ravens - Sports - The Buffalo News
"A week after being skewered by the New York Jets on the ground and in the air, the Bills’ defense rose up and keyed the 23-20 victory before a crowd of 68,296 at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills’ 31st-ranked run defense held the Ravens to 24 rushing yards."

Bills notebook: Offense shows it can slow it down, and milk clock - Sports - The Buffalo News
"Buffalo’s fast-paced offense, criticized for leaving its defense on the field too long through the first three games, pumped the brakes. Buffalo’s offense huddled at times, ran way more often than it threw, used its fullback and played the kind of style your grandfather would recognize."

Bills Alonso keeps it simple, but it isn’t easy - Sports - The Buffalo News
"Flacco must have wondered on the flight home where Alonso came from after seeing him all over the field Sunday. He has a nose for the ball, a knack for baiting quarterbacks on mid-range passes and the speed to make a break on them. He’s had two interceptions this season in which he appeared to be the intended receiver, including his first pick Sunday. "

Hackett’s offense shows staying power - Sports - The Buffalo News
"It’s a new system, a new group, and you have to see everybody getting better," he said. "And if they’re doing that, it’s all about December. That’s when you want to be hitting your stride."

"Stevie nearly snuffed: Bills receiver Stevie Johnson entered today's game with a 51-game reception streak, fourth-longest in club history. Johnson had one catch for minus-1 yard. But he also made a colossal play by recovering an EJ Manuel fumble deep in Buffalo territory right before the two-minute warning."
