I see some parallels here and I am honestly curious why Bills fans react the way the do. Lets look at 3 recent and or current Bills players:
Jarius Byrd refutes the rumor that he and his agent are trying to orchestrate a trade. So Why is it that Bills fans don't believe that but believe Andy Levitre when he says that the Bills never offered him a contract?
Jarius Byrd has a foot injury, he went to a doctor and got a legit diagnosis. Yet Bills fans think he has ulterior motives and was either hiding the injury or not completely truthful about it. Mario Williams, after several very ineffective weeks of play all of a sudden has an injury that supposedly been hampering him the whole time. He has to get a second opinion before a doctor can find anything and he then goes on to have incredibly minor surgery. The idea that the surgery was a placebo effect is scoffed at by Bills fans. Why? Why is Byrd less believable then Williams?
Does it have to do with the player being greedy and wanting money? I wouldn't think so, I mean Mario Williams is the highest paid defensive player in the history f the NFL, that is what the Bills had to offer him to get him to come to Buffalo. Andy Levitre left the Bills so he could sign a ridiculously huge deal.
So please tell me Bills fans, why does Jarius Byrd generate all this hate, yet those other two guys somehow avoid it?
