Van Miler gets his rightful place on the Wall of Fame tomorrow

I started listening to Bills broadcasts in the mid 80's. Those were difficult years for the Bills but Van Miller's voice always brought me good feelings. He has one of the great all time football voices, right up there with Ray Scott, Lindsey Nelson and others. He was (is) a true homer in the best possible way. My adrenalin would surge as he called a touchdown play to Andre Reed or a great run by Thurman Thomas. "Can you believe that" and "Fandemonium" will be forever etched in my brain. He had the right pitch and super timing in raising his emotional voice during a play. I don't find many Youtube vids on him, but they're out there. In the voting for WOF he voted for Cornelius Bennett. Typical Van Miller in playing down his contributions. Van, you are most deserving of a place on the Wall. Congratulations to a very nice man and one helluva radio voice. I still miss you big time.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
