What do you like this weekend? Week 16

It's been stated here on Buffalo Rumblings many times this week; but isn't it great to be talking about the Bills and playoff chances in the same breathe?!?! Fantastic win by our boys last Sunday. Unfortunately, I did not do as hot. I'll take the hit with a little bit of comfort as everyone I know who bets NFL took hits last weekend as well. Let's review my week:

STL-4.5 (1 unit): L - tailed the "sharps" or "wiseguys" all the way to a -$55 night.

ATL+2 (3 units): L - Pittsburgh has been a team that costs me no matter what I do with them this season. It just reaffirms my pure disdain for Rapistburger and the gang.

CLE-1 (4 units): L - Ugh - my biggest play of the season so far and it was a total washout. Shame on me for giving in to the National Media Hype surrounding Johnny Football. You're a bum - Johnny! Grow up! Be a leader! You're a boy on a man's field.

NE-7.5 (2 units) W - Certain things in life you can count on...like that first snow storm of the season taking you by surprise, the eventual decline of a dear friendship, an ugly knit sweater from mom at Christmas...AND the Brady Bunch winning you money week-in and week-out.

BUF+4.5 (2 units) W - YEAH, BABY!!!!!

DEN@SD OVER 50.5 (1 units): L - Denver, San Diego - you disappoint time and time again. What in the bloody hell was that disgusting display of football?

Yep - that a whopping negative 5 units - insert frowning face here.

SU record on week: 2-4-0; SU record on season: 46-36-1

Week 15 Winnings (for a $50 bettor or 1 unit=$50): -$275

Season Winnings to date (for a $50 bettor): +$560

Plenty of time to get it back, folks. Just gotta watch out for those traps at this point in the season. Pick wisely and ride the playoffs to some big money! Lines and picks for week 16 below:

My Week 16 Plays:

JAX-3.5 (1 unit): While nothing about this game will be exciting, I expect the home team to get excited for a primetime game. They are a building team with a little bit of talent (even with Shoelaces out). Tennessee will be in complete blow-up mode come the offseason. I'll take the more talented team on primetime - but only for a tickle.

MIN+6.5 (3 units): Miami is out. Their coach is next. Their owner is courting GMs and Coaches. It's ugly in South Beach. Look for Minnesota to sneak in a win against a team distracted with their late season putrid play.

GB-10.5 (2 units): Gotta love a Rodgers Road Revenge Riot against a Rotting Bucs team Reeling in their own Ridiculousness.

NE-10 (2 units): I'm not a huge fan of this play, but with this win New England can clinch home field advantage. I think they go balls-to-the-wall on New York who is just terrible, and coast next week against us (wishful thinking?)

BUF-6 (1 unit): I'm not sure this Bills team has the offense to lay 6 to anyone! However, with the return of CJ to the screen and passing game, I like the Bills to carve up Oakland. Add in a pick six off a streaky Derrek Carr and some key special teams plays, this game will cover. But I'm not putting the kids' college fund on it.

DEN-3 (3 units): This game is so huge for so many teams. This game means a great deal to Buffalo as I don;t see Baltimore losing to Case Keenum. This game is huge for Denver who will need to win in order to keep in line with New England (who will no doubt beat the Jets) for the 1 seed. This game is huge for Cincy who needs the game to stay in it in the AFC North w/ Balty and Pittsburgh likely winners this week. The best part for us? CINCY IS TERRIBLE IN PRIMETIME!!! They are like disgustingly terrible in primetime. All this plus we get to watch it on Monday Night Football!

All sides - no totals this week. What do y'all like? Good luck and GO BILLS!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
