Please forgive any mistakes here as this is my first post but I have been an avid reader here for years. That being said I've noticed a lot of Rumblers trying to fill all positions of need in the draft and while I understand the need to become more competitive at deficient positions I think that line of thinking handcuffs your ability to become elite. Every team has its deficiencies. When you take the absolute best available player regardless of positional needs then you have a much better chance of getting an all pro player as opposed to grabbing a solid but unspectacular player to fill out your roster. example given Richard Sherman was a fifth round pick I believe. Now maybe they needed a guard that year but the BPA happened to be Sherman. Now I know lockdown corners don't fall to the fifth every year but I think you get my point. If we grab the best available talent and try to fill in the holes through other means I believe we'll be much better off. I'm also interested in doing something like who would you have drafted in this slot after the draft. I think it'd be fun plus we could always say years later if they had listened to this person look who we'd have now. Or you might say thank god we didn't go with this guys pick. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
