I came across this new (to me) draft prospect site recently. Yes, I know, he is a Pats fanatic. I don't care. I absolutely love his draft analysis and the "metrics" he advances. His writeups sometimes read like they are a bit over the top, but his terminology is true thinking outside the box.
So I first read his thoughts on the 3 tight ends. Good stuff here. He is not high on S-Jenkins. Thinks Ebron is a better blocker than others. He would take a flyer on Lyerla (I was thinking he would go undrafted).
Then I went to the 3 OT's rated highly. Very interesting reading. BTW, he is not high on Yankey.
Finally the QB's. Again somewhat of a unique take on them. Manziel comes out on top.
He has prospect analysis going back to 2010. Read the Cordy Glenn piece.
I'm a big fan on what he thinks makes a great player at his position. The intangibles are major here. Diagnostics, processing speed, and what should go down as one of the best analytics of all time, "paw power". Paw power. Ya gotta love it! The Fanatical Yankee. I'm interested to hear your thoughts. Enjoy.
