In this thread you said:
Evans is my favorite receiver in the draft, but as long as Buffalo can pick from one of [Clowney, Bridgewater, Mack, Matthews, Robinson, Evans, Watkins] at 9 I’ll be happy.
I asked you:
Dan — You are 1 of 3 guys on here that I really listen to what you say and respect your opinion (the other 2 are Brian and JonR), and I usually agree with you. But why is Evans your favorite receiver? My instincts are just yelling "bust" to me.
It’s hard for me to give him a lot of credit for his stats. Was it him getting separation? Or was it Manziel running around giving his WRs time for the coverages to breakdown? I always felt it was the latter as one of Evans’ strengths is coming back after a broken play, but how often does that happen in the NFL today? Had he gotten separation to begin with, his QB wouldn’t have to create that much time for someone to get open, at least that’s my feelings on this.
I’m not trolling you, I’m really looking for why you’re sold on him and trying to look at things from a different view.
You never got back to me. I'm assuming you didn't see it. But I would love to hear your opinion on him.
