Hey everyone. I'm looking to confirm a bit of Bills trivia from the relatively recent past.
After the legendary comeback win against the Pats in September 2011, I remember reading a story on buffalobills.com (I think) about an interaction between Fitzpatrick and Brady. Apparently Fitzpatrick has a collection of autographed, game-worn QB jerseys. Prior to the game against the Pats, Fitzpatrick had contacted Brady and asked if he could get his jersey autographed after the game. Brady agreed, probably assuming he'd be in a great mood after beating the Bills for the 16th straight time. However, as we all know, it didn't quite turn out that way. After the game, Brady "forgot" to give Fitzpatrick his jersey and tried to hurry out of the Ralph with his tail between his legs. Fitzpatrick tracked him down, reminded him about their agreement, and added a very memorable jersey to his collection.
Although I remember this story very vividly, as it is one of my favorite random pieces of Bills trivia, I cannot find any references to it online anymore. Does anyone else remember this story, or did my subconscious, with it's righteous hatred of Tom Brady, completely invent this tale?
