Let's just assume the worst case scenario here as we're all bills fans. Let's say Watkins and Evans are gone before we pick. I personally don't think Whaley is gonna take a right tackle with a top ten pick. I think he wants a play maker. I would be all for trading down in such a deep draft class. But you still need to find someone willing to trade and give you a suitable offer and you've only got fifteen minutes to do that. Again let's assume we can't get that done either. What do you do at nine? I had a thought that we could draft Justin Gilbert. Before you say how we have great corner depth hear this. Play him at safety. He has the same size as Byrd. He is much faster and also has great ball skills like Byrd. Our secondary would be stacked. And with our stellar D line and additions at LB the D would only really need a run stopping DE. There is great depth at Receiver, Tight End, Guard, and Tackle respectively. I could see Whaley doing this. And while it might not be your first choice. I don't think its a bad idea at all. What do you think rumblers?
