The Buffalo Bills have officially confirmed their first two pre-draft visitors of the 2014 draft season. We knew about one of the names, and the other is a new one.
Notre Dame tight end Troy Niklas is at One Bills Drive today. A junior entrant in the 2014 NFL Draft, the 6'6", 270-pound prospect is considered one of the better all-around prospects at the position in this year's class, capable both as a receiver and a blocker. He took over as a full-time starter for the Irish last season, replacing Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick Tyler Eifert, and caught 32 passes for 498 yards and five touchdowns. Niklas is widely considered a Round 2 prospect in the draft community.
Indiana wide receiver Cody Latimer is also in Orchard Park on Tuesday. We discussed the highly athletic 6'2" receiver in this post when news broke of his visit last week.
With these confirmations in place, it's now time to officially begin keeping track of the Bills' list of 30 pre-draft visitors from non-local schools this spring. The list does not yet include Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk, North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron and Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby, who are all reportedly scheduled to visit, as well.
