My case for having FredEx return punts

Ok here me out. I am quite aware that Mckelvin excelled two years ago, but his play defensively last year was something I would like a repeat of and don't care to see an injury in this area and would love for him to put his added effort in learning the system and staying atop his game. Goodwin is such a small guy in stature and had injury issues as well, I would rather not take that chance. I understand that it's hard to get past because we have a few others who could do this duty, but none that I trust. Sooooooo... With Dixon now as a backup RB, I'm completely content with FredEx taking punts and maybe only getting it 30 yards at best with knowing he will never break one but leaving our defensive backfield a little safer, and our mini me one less opportunity to get hit. I am aware of the the value of FredEx(especially in pass protection) but if an injury occurs I think he is the easiest to replace(hypothetically). So the question is, would you rather have someone who could take it the house and change a game in a play, or take a capped out max but for certain will get you at least 10-15 yards each time?(not talking about fair catches)
