Keeping the Bills in Buffalo is all that matters!

I recently read the posting, Keeping the Bills in Buffalo is not all that matters! Well, what does then? I grew up in Buffalo and watched the 70's teams with O.J., then I had season tickets during the Super Bowl run with Kelly, Bruce, etc. The Bills are like family and are a part of my being! Bills fans are as passionate about the Bills as most college fans are in towns in Alabama. Why? Because there is nothing else to root for and the fact that a small city like Buffalo could be fortunate to have it's own NFL team for 60 years, is similar to why Packers fans are so passionate about their team year round. I think about the Bills every day and when they lose, your inner being takes a hit! I cannot explain it, but Buffalo is a proud community that works hard, looks out for it's neighbor, and try's to exemplify that sense of pride on Sunday's through it's football team and the fans that are there. I have lived in North Carolina now for 15 years and have to admit it is a great place to live, but I still know where I come from and what I look forward to on Sunday's during football season. And that is what are my Bills doing? So I could care less about judging Trump as an owner, which I doubt will happen anyhow. First of all, he would have to sell all of his casinos. And regardless, after close to 15 years of not making the playoffs, and having lousy G.M.'s and drafts, who cares if we have a Corporate raider with deep pockets as an owner? All that matters to me is how that team is doing on the field on Sundays! And for the last 15 seasons, the pain of not making the playoffs or fielding a competitive team is worse than who the owner is!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
