Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to watch tape on most players, especially later round guys, and I do not watch a lot of college football. This makes Day Three of the Draft excruciatingly boring. In the past, I had one or two mid-round favorites that I was hoping the Bills would take, only to be disappointed. The problem is that once the one or two guys went, I had no idea who else to cheer for. Instead, I would wait for the pick and come here to get a feel for the pick. But, it was exciting to at least know about a couple of guys that I felt would be great fits for the Bills in the later rounds.
As I read all of the mocks and analysis of players, my eyes glaze over. The sheer volume is just too much, and I have no idea where to even begin to find a few diamonds in the rough that I could follow on draft day. Moreover, every mock I read has a million different late round guys such that it is impossible to remember all their names.
As such, I have a request for you, or for anyone else who thinks they can help: narrow my search down. More specifically, I would love to see a list of your Top 3 Day 3 Players. Imagine it like this, Doug Whaley calls you and says "I will personally watch tape on three late round picks of your choice. Who are they?" They can be players of need, players with injury concerns, players with off-field concerns, wish-list players, or just overall special guys. Try to limit it to Day 3 picks or maybe later Day 2. If there is anything important I need to know about them before I watch some tape, include it in a little blurb.
Hopefully, this will be helpful to other Rumblers as well who are in the same boat. Thanks, in advance, for the help.
