Where are the bloodthirsty Bills?

I'm probably going to get beaten up about this Post, but here goes anyway......

I have a terrible memory for names, statistics etc..., maybe some of you can help me put names to memories.

During the super bowl years, didn't we have a winning qb who was known to drink/party a little too hard. If said qb grew up in this generation, possessing the same vices (with modern drugs of choice, modern criminal information systems, modern intolerance of ANY such behavior in our college/pro athletes,) what would happen to his career in the modern draft? Post Draft?

I remember a DE that played during the super bowl years who was the best player on the field, bar none, because during play, he was the meanest sob in the league. I used to believe Marino honed his quick release to survive playing him 2-3 X per year.

I remember a certain Special Team Gunner who was so violently efficient and skilled, no opposing returner dared dream of a return, just prayed he survived the "as sure as God and Taxes" slaughter awaiting him upon receipt of the pigskin.

I remember a fullback we picked up from NE, (post super bowl era) I think, who had prided himself in high school for cracking his helmet, every single game, several years running,. This guy was so violent, I remember a Dolphins game in Miami where Zach Thomas was running away from him the entire second half.......

The list of "bloodthirsty" Bills is considerably longer, though they are all in the past.. I contend that a percentage of our playoff team wins were influenced by sheer intimidation of "elite" violence. Opponents knew they were going to go home hurting after playing us, and during the game their play was affected by this fact.

Who are the nastiest, most mean spirited, violent players, by position in this draft, and are we no longer placing a premium on this type of character, even if it necessarily is accompanied by legal "baggage?"

Looking forward to your opinions.....

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
