Don't think moving up will be cheap

There is a lot of buzz and a lot of talk about Buffalo moving up in this draft. Even the GM is hinting that we might be willing to do that. The one point of caution I would toss out to the Fans is don't assume that moving up in this draft or any draft will be cheap. You will have to sacrifice a ton. The best example I can offer is from 2012 only two drafts ago. St. Louis traded the 2nd pick to Washington for first-round selections in 2012 (6th), 2013, and 2014, and a 2012 second-round selection. One might make the point that 2012 was different, Washington was going after a Franchise QB and had to spend it. I would say however that if you are trying to move up to 1 or 2 in this draft your target is a "Franchise" DL named Clowney. There are a lot of teams that would want him. My best guess is that you are going to give up at least 2 #1 picks and a number #2 pick at a minimum if you are Buffalo and want to move up from 9. Is that worth it? Look at the players that St. Louis has been able to add based on that trade, look at the players Washington has missed out on? Heck the #2 this year is still part of that trade from 2012.
