So in a previous post I suggested that we trade our pick at 9 for the 7th pick with TB and our 1st round pick next year and Stevie Johnson for Mike Evans, yet I got comments suggesting that was to much. What actually happened we all know. Now knowing what the Cleveland receiver situation is I'm a little shocked and concerned that Stevie was not put on the table with Cleveland. I feel the FO could have saved our 4th next year by shipping him in that deal and maybe had a chance to not use our 1st round next year. Monos stated they had 6 minutes left on the clock after the trade was finalized, I'm just curious why we obviously went high right off the bat instead of low and working our way up which is what seems happened. I'm ok with the trade altogether, but knowing they were willing to trade picks for a WR and knowing shopping Stevie would happen after that, I just think a more Bills friendly trade could have potentially happened with Stevie and Cleveland. Thoughts?
