Easley is gone. They got Dixon and Graham to fill the role of gunner and plan on keeping Hogan. Easley will never see the field as a WR(too slow off the line) and that is better depth at WR. TJ Graham is gone as well. I think Elliot will get a true opportunity to be the first one on the field if Williams or Watkins get injured. I think Elliot might fight Williams for #2 actually. Williams may be the better WR and more finished product, but chemistry can't be forced. I think teams would initially double cover Watkins and Elliot can go Bananas one on one, while if it was Williams and Watkins might open up the running game more. I can't wait to see that battle in the preseason.
I also think Lawson will be gone. It's the same reason I think Stevie needed to go. This regime is not set for adequate play, they want the personnel to excel at what they do. There is no need to keep him when they have a hunch another player with great work ethic and if they tell him, if we take him out of his norm it will benefit him and the team. I have no idea who that will be, but I know they have no problem saying, if this is all your willing to do then goodbye. I think that's Lawson.
I also would not be surprised if Tuel unseats Lewis. Tuel is a smart kid who just got thrown into a fire without knowledge. He didn't get the, touch your toes in the water see if it's cold, he got the throw you in it's not as cold as thought treatment. The first way you get some knowledge and know you touch it a few times it's better to just jump right in, but if you get thrown in cold water automatically you are going to flail around like you're drowning. Strange thing is I've never seen his confidence shaken. The guy knows he has an arm, I think he shows it off in the preseason
