Your Guess is as good as Mine!

My final post on the draft before my final Mock Draft. At this point literally anyone's guess is as good as mine. I'm going to break down the position and type of player the Bills may value and what is really available in the draft class. I think as fans we look at the needs and try to fit players into roles that they can't full fill.

One instance of this is the difference between having a true #1 WR vs. 6-5 Target that would serve as Red Zone threat. There are a few big target options in the draft between Mike Evans, Kelvin Benjamin, Brandon Coleman on the other hand there are true #1 WR available as well Sammy Watkins, Odell Beckham Jr. , Marquis Lee. Again your guess is as good as mine when it comes to what the BIlls would be better off selecting or what they want in order to get us to the playoffs.

True #1 WR: Not the 6'5'' 35'' inch arms but still lethal

  1. Sammy Watkins
  2. Odell Beckham Jr.
  3. Brandin Cooks
  4. Marquise Lee
  5. Cory Lattimer/Allen Robinson/Jordan Matthews/Davante Adams

Tall WR (Red Zone threat; open when covered):

  1. Mike Evans
  2. Kelvin Benjamin (played with Manuel before)
  3. Brandon Coleman
  4. L'Damian Washington

Jump High- May not be 6'5'' but have a huge Vert. Larry Fitz had 35 inch vert at 6'3'' I use that as benchmark.

  1. Davante Adams
  2. Donte Moncrief
  3. Martavis Bryant
  4. Allen Robinson
  5. Beckham Jr/Marquis Lee
  6. Mike Evans
  7. Jordan Matthews

All Around Backs:Run, Catch, Block

  1. Carlos Hyde
  2. Bishop Shankey
  3. Tre Mason
  4. Isiah Crowell

Power Backs: 5'11+ 220+

  1. Carlos Hyde
  2. Jeremy Hill
  3. Andre Williams
  4. Isiah Crowell
  5. James Wilder Jr. (probably wont be drafted but would be a solid 7th/UNDFA for practice squad)

Talented Small School Unknowns:

  1. Terrance West
  2. Jerick Mckinnon ( my personal favorite)
  3. Terrance Cobb

DL Undersized Ton of Talent:

  1. Aaron Donald(Still pulling for him, best pass rusher in the entire DL prospects)
  2. Dee Ford
  3. Jeremiah Attaochu
  4. Demarcus Lawrence
  5. Marcus Smith
  6. Trent Murphy

DL with the Size :

  1. J. Clowney
  2. Scott Crichon
  3. Kony Early
  4. Kareem Martin
  5. Zach Moore (My Favorite Pick besides Clowney who would costs us a lot)
  6. Will Clarke
  7. Taylor Hart
  8. James Gayle

3 Down Linbackers:

  1. Khalil Mack
  2. Kyle Van Noy ( like his passion plus wasn't on a stacked defense like Alabama and Ohio State)
  3. Ryan Shazier
  4. CJ Mosley (I just don't like his size)
  5. Chris Borland
  6. Jordan Tripp

2 Down "Thumper":

  1. Shayne Skov
  2. Brock Coyle ( Could possibly play all 3 downs; not bad in pass coverage; Forces a lot of fumbles)
  3. Jordan Zumwalt
  4. Preston Brown
  5. Avery Williamson
  6. Andrew Jackson

OT Start Day 1:

  1. Jake Matthews
  2. Greg Robinson
  3. Cyrus Kouandjio
  4. Zack Martin (Size wise for the Bills it doesn't add up to what they love; but pre draft luncheon they said Tackle)
  5. Morgan Moses
  6. JaWuan James
  7. Seantrel Henderson ( got the talent and size of 1st rounder just off the field concerns/character issues may stop him)
  8. Jack Mewhort

Borderline Starters/Swing OL:

  1. Joel Bitonio ( Size wise like Martin doesn't fit what the Bills usually like but he can play anywhere on OL)
  2. Antonio Richardson
  3. Brandon Thompson
  4. Billy Turner
  5. Laurent-D Tardif
  6. Justin Britt

Cornerbacks ( Fast, Aggressive, Physical, Versatile, High PDs,Strong (at least 15 reps), Power Conference bonus)

  1. Kyle Fuller (12 reps at combine but doesn't seem on tape to get over powered)
  2. Bradley Roby
  3. Jaylen Watkins (My Favorite; Sammy Watkins brother; played nickel, inside, outside and Free Safety.)
  4. Walt Aikens
  5. Ross Cockrell ( 10 reps but looks more physical on tape)
  6. Dontae Johnson ( Great size, speed and can jump with the best of them)
  7. E.J Gaines
  8. Victor Hampton( project guy that could produce later on when life is together and with the right mentor.)

Tight End to Replace Lee Smith:
Tight End Athletic Freak:

  1. Eric Ebron- Without a doubt most athletic tight end in the class
  2. Jace Amaro

Best Upside:

  1. Troy Niklas (My personal favorite. Kids called him Hercules; Needs time to refine into polished Receiver. Sports a 32 inch vert like Ebron only Niklas is 3 inches taller. )

Consistent TE Not a High Ceiling nor a Low Floor:

  1. Austin SJ- Bit of Character concern but solid player all the way around.
Surprise Project:
  1. Larry Webster- Bloomsburg. 6'6'' 250. 4.58 40. 37 1/2 inch vert. Played 4 years of Basketball also played DE in College. Would be a project but intriguing after the 5th round pick up.

So leave your thoughts and comments below if you are curious about the categories I came up with again like the title your guess is as good as mine when it comes to where the Bills are aiming.
