I will admit I was unimpressed with the draft choice last night. Seemed like we gave up too much and I am seriously frustrated that the Bills seem to believe in 6 foot and shorter receivers. They always talk about these big guys that can go up and get it, but they keep drafting these little runts. Anyways, after watching some youtube reels, he appears to be a talented receiver. That is great but unfortunately that means nothing unless we have a QB that can get him the ball. In Sammy's (and the front office's) defense, it seems like he is a good at catching inaccurate throws, which is a real positive considering what we all witnessed from EJ last year. Occasionally, EJ's throws were all over the place. So in that regard, Sammy could be very beneficial. My ultimate observation from the reels though (and the point of this post) is that I think we should consider taking Tajh Boyd as a late round pick (assuming he falls to the 5th or 6th round) or as a UDFA. He appears to be very willing to take shots downfield and his chemistry with Sammy could be beneficial in case Knee-J rears his head again this season. I am sure some people will disagree, but hey, it is just a thought.
