I couldn't find anywhere to discuss players being cut in the offseason, rumors that players might get cut, and the pros/cons of the Bills trying to grab them.
So I thought I'd start it up!
Today Brandon Flowers got cut from the Chiefs. When he wasn't front-manning for The Killers poetically waxing about life philosophies, Brandon Flowers was a pro-bowl CB. At age 28, he isn't young, but he also isn't old. Should the Bills show any interest? The Bills are pretty strong at CB, but they are also in "win-now" mode, so a pro-bowler could help.
Also today, Chris Houston was cut from the Lions after having 'major' surgery on his toe (I couldn't find any indication of which toe it was, so I'll guess it was the little piggy that went "wee wee wee all the way home"). Also a CB, it seems as though he won't be playing much this year, but he could be a solid long-term stash. Unfortunately, at age 29, it seems as though waiting another year for him to heal might not be smart.
Marshawn Lynch - Still on the Seahawks, but there seem to be some issues working out a contract. Would the Bills want him back? Would Lynch, now perhaps a bit more mature, want to come back to Buffalo? He seems to fit Hackett's power back style perfectly.
I know it is early, but lets get the arguments rolling!
