I come from a very small town called Wellsboro, PA. Our most famous features are the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and the Wellsboro Diner. However, we may have another new claim to fame, My local high school football team won the right to represent the Buffalo Bills as their junior team. It's really exciting to be able to have my hometown represent my favorite NFL team. Now that they've won they will be flown to Indianapolis and play in a total of nine games against other NFL Junior teams. The road to get to this point wasn't easy. Wellsboro first had to take part in a 7 on 7 tournament in Mansfield, PA. We played teams from all over and ended up winning the tournament which allowed us to advance to the next tournament in Lyons, NY. At the second tournament we defeated teams from Batavia, Lyons, Syracuse and in the final beat a team from Buffalo to earn the right to become the Buffalo Bills junior team. Again I can't say how cool it is for me to see my small town representing the Buffalo Bills. I really wanted to share this with everyone on here since it is Bills related. Hopefully Wellsboro can go on to this tournament in Indianapolis and not only make me but also the Buffalo Bills proud and continue to win. Go Wellsboro and Go Bills!
