2013 Bears Defense - It was terrible.

The Chicago Bears had by far the worst run defense last year, giving up 5.3 y/a. The Atlanta Falcons were second worst at 4.8, and I think we remember how CJ dominated those fools (15 for 149yds, 1 TD) with Fred adding 11 for 42 as well.

Now, the Bears made a number of offseason acquisitions to shore up their D:

Just like they did with their offensive line a year ago, the Bears have completely revamped their defensive line this offseason, signing ends Jared Allen, Lamarr Houston, Willie Young and Israel Idonije in free agency and selecting Ego Ferguson and Will Sutton in the draft.

They also selected CB Kyle Fuller in the first round this year.

Regardless, I think we will be in for an offensive explosion come week 1. Color me excited
