Message to Doug Whaley - Do the right thing.

I am a big fan of continuity and would like to see Brandon & Whaley complete their plan. I trust them to be able to decide after the 2014 season if the current coaching staff also deserves added time to prove themselves.

I like EJ and I hope he succeeds but so far I'm not sure that I like what I see. I think EJ is the type of QB that needed to play behind a veteran for 2-3 years to properly develop, unfortunately his veteran was also made of glass and is always broken so he ended up being thrust into the fire before he was ready. I really like what Lovie Smith & Jason Litch did by demoting Glennon and bringing in a solid veteran.

Doug, if you are reading this, I implore you to consider doing the same. Kyle Orton is available and could run this offense, you've assembled a great backfield and great weapons on offense, Kyle could do some serious damage with the group you've assembled. He's been around for a long time and has been successful.

It's not about stroking EJs ego, its about winning now. Bringing in a wily veteran and giving EJ a chance to learn is the best way to make sure he's not a bust. EJ deserves the possibility to learn without the pressure. We as fans deserve to be able to root for a winning team. Jeff Tuel is a great third string QB in training.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
