I'm going to pass on breaking this down by position group and we're going to lump the defense together as a whole - what are your predictions on how Scwartz's new group will fare? Here are my thoughts:
- The defense generates 44 sacks - a solid number, but nothing like the aggressive, QB pressuring defense we saw last year.
- Gilmore is okay - some ups and some downs, he picks 2 or 3 balls and leaves us having the same conversations we had about Leodis McKelvin (minus the fumbles).
- Aaron Williams makes the pro bowl
- Kyle Williams and Marcell Dareus are completely marginalized in this defense - they play well though, but their stats suck
- Mario sacks the QB 14 times
- Nickell Robey plays like a stud, gets on a solid HGH regiment, grows 5 inches, and starts on the outside for us for 10 more years
- Bradham has a real breakout season and becomes the 3 down LB we're looking for in Kiko's absence.
- The Bills rank in 10th in adjusted efficiency as a defensive unit.
