I don't want him to ever start, but if he had to at least the defense and our RBs will know the game plan. Orton has survived this long in the NFL by being on teams that allowed him to be conservative which is his style. The major flaw in his background is Tim Tebow came in and took his team to the playoffs. I'll say it, why at this point is our QB position not in the spot to kick the tires on Tebow. If we want to argue about his mechanics and inaccuracy we can, but is anyone really THAT confident in EJ. Tebow has a winning record at every level. At this point I don't care what he looks like and his stats... However I am concerned with EJ and his stats because he is suppose to be the future. If EJ does fail the first few weeks and we start 0-3 Orton is not what I want to turn to. Why not take a team with RB strength play option football and see what happens. I hope this is not an option, but in case that's how the season starts I thought I would go ahead and start the Tebow Train.... Why not! We will have a new coaching staff, no 1st rd pick, and no QB if we don't make the playoffs. TO MAKE THIS CLEAR, I want EJ to succeed so their is no option, but contingency factor why not run triple option gimmicks use our strength make the playoffs and trade or wheel and deal for a solid QB in the offseason. I'm perfectly ok with being the douchebag team that used gimmicks instead of our people will beat your people method to make the playoffs. Don't continue it, but desperate times call for desperate measures!
