1) SUMMARY- My plan is to make Buffalo into a Super Bowl caliber team as soon as possible, using any means necessary. Whether it be trades, free agency, or the draft. I know I can make this team the best in the league. We want to build a foundation and keep the defensive core intact for years to come while finding a solution to quarterback. I will build the team from the ground up, making it a dominant force in the NFL.

2) FRONT OFFICE- We will go the sensible route and keep Rex Ryan. He fits what the Bills need, especially without a quarterback in place. Greg Roman and and Thurman are perfect fits at coordinators for the direction the team is going. Rex Ryan can keep all his assistant coaches in place. Doug Whaley has done a great job bringing in talent so there is no reason to replace him as of now.

3) BILLS PERSONNEL-

Jerry Hughes: 5 years- $51 million for $10.2m a year ($24M guaranteed)

Jarius Wynn: 2 years- $1.75 million for $875k a year

Marcus Easley: 3 years- $1.95 million for $650k a year

Larry Dean: 1 year- $670k (valuable special teams player)

Chris Hogan: 3 year veteran minimum of $500k a year

Chris Hairston: 2 years- $1.4 million for $700k a year

Da'Norris Searcy: 4 years- $18 million for $4.5M a year ($15M guaranteed)

Let Walk:

-C.J. Spiller

-Lee Smith (Plans too upgrade TE and Smith is a one trick pony)

-Marcus Thigpen (Too expensive to tender)

-Corbin Bryant

-Jordan Gay

-Stevenson Sylvester (No more room for linebackers)

-Brandon Spikes (No room left with Kiko returning)

-Eric pears (Below average and not worth the money)

Cut Players:

-Kraig Urbik ($2.275M)

-Keith Rivers ($1.7M)

-Chris Williams ($2.475M)

4) NFL PERSONNEL-

Ryan Mallett: 2 years- $6.6 million for $2.8M a year

Richie Incognito: 1 year- $1.1 million

Orlando Franklin: 3 years- $21.3 million for $7.1M a year

Jermaine Gresham: 3 years- $8.4 million for $2.8M a year

Alex Carrington: 2 years- $2.4 million for $1.2M a year

Trade-

:Bills trade Scott Chandler, Bryce Brown, and a 2015 7th round draft to the Atlanta Falcons for a 2015 3rd round draft pick.

-I plan to address running back in the draft and also add another TE there as well. Chandler is replaced by Gresham who is an upgrade.

5) DRAFT-

2nd round, Pick 50: RB Jay Ajayi

-This running back reminds me a lot of a faster and younger Fred Jackson, he is one of the most balanced in the this class and would be a great back to share the load of work with Jackson this year, then take over after Fred retires. (Second option- T.J. Yeldon)

3rd round, Pick 73: TE Clive Walford

-Clive gives us a second athletic TE for Greg Roman to use in different tight end sets. He also has good long term potential and has good value in the third round.

3rd round, Pick 81: QB Garrett Grayson

-Grayson is a great. Project QB to put behind Manuel and Mallett. He has the potential to become a future starter and can challenge for a starting position down the road.

5th round, Pick 141: OG Robert Myers

-Purely a depth pick but has interesting upside and potential as a project. He is very raw but has the frame and all the tools to be good

5th round, Pick 159: DE Corey Crawford

-Crawford has lots of upside and is naturally talented but needs to be developed.

6th round, Pick 194: QB Brandon Bridge

-Bridge has a lot of talent and maybe even the best natural ability out of any of the quarter backs in this class, the problem is he is extremely raw and needs a lot of work and patience. Why not throw another QB into the mix and see which one comes out on top

Undrafted:

-QB Bryan Bennett

6) OVERVIEW-

We are left with just over $4 million in cap space and were able to fix up most of the problems with the team. We upgraded the tight end position with two good players. Greg roman now has a rebuilt offensive line and weapons to move the ball. We loaded up on quarter backs hoping at least one comes out on top. I'm excited about how competition will push E.J. and even the potential of Ryan Mallat. There was no point in bringing in a veteran QB purely for a mentor as none of the ones available were anything better than decent at best. We also were able to keep our stars in place and hopefully work out a deal with Dareus next year. The way I see it, I built a playoff caliber team. Now just let the defense dominate and add in a power running game that will help whoever is under center.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
