Buffalo Bills 2015 draft breakdown and poll

Pick 1

DB- Ronald Darby is ranked highly and helps deepen up the DB corps. After the last two years of DaNorris Searcy and Jairus Byrd departing, Corey Graham will assist Duke Williams across at Safety more in 2015 and Darby will back up Stephon Gilmore and Leodis McKelvin on the islands. Nickell Robey is a good baller in his own right back there.

Pick 2

OL- Any Bills fan with an I.Q over 120(ish) knows that our O line was wobbly in 2014. John Miller will take on Richie Incognito, Kraig Urbik, Cyril Richardson and Chris Williams at OG. Cordy Glenn and Seantrel Henderson(last years La'el Collins) are the incumbents, but Cyrus Kouandjio and even Chris Williams could have a run at OT

Pick 3

RB- I had been plugging for RB youth at Buffalo. Fred Jackson is thirtysomething, playing like a 28 year old, but has only a year or 3 left in the NFL. Maybe 4, it is Fred Jackson after all. But LeSean McCoy is the interesting one to observe. If, he should hopefully not get injured, suspended or up to speed with the Roman offence, Karlos Williams is back in the mix, with high upside. I rate McCoy very highly, but I also know a lot has to be done quickly to fire up Shady's career best season in 2015. Karlos Williams was destined to be a Bill. The tape looks good and his surname is very popular in West New York. Bryce Brown still has potential to evolve and Anthony B. Dixon is a fan favourite at RB, FB and ST.

Karlos Williams wasn't to be missed in Round 5.

Pick 4

LB- Nigel Bradham and Preston Brown will start, maybe Brandon Spikes stays? Randell Johnson, Ty Powell and Jimmy Gaines are the main back ups. Kiko Alonso and let down Keith Rivers were waived or traded so an addition was needed here. Tony Steward was next to Stephone Anthony last season at Clemson, so was part of a good Linebackers group. His sheet looks promising, lets hope his injuries are not restricting his talent to impact in the pros.

Pick 5

TE- Lucky to get Nick O'Leary in Round 6 and Charles Clay in F.A this off season. Good acquisitions. MarQueis Gray, Chris Gragg and Chris Manhertz are all in to push for a TE roster spot too. O'Leary can play and is versatile support for Jerome Felton at FB.

Pick 6

WR- The Bills don't have a Dorial Green-Beckham or a Dez Bryant, but we do have Dezmin Lewis. Luckily for us, we haven't seen the best of this young man yet. If he played for Florida State, Ohio State or Oregon, he may be a household College name. Dezmin could end up being a better player than Devin Smith. Buffalo has a lot of depth at WR now and the best 5-6 will make the 53. Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Marquise Goodwin, Percy Harvin, Justin Brown, Caleb Holley, Chris Hogan, Deonte Thompson, Marcus Easley and Marcus Thigpen are competing. Special teamers included here are Hogan, Goodwin, Easley(A grade) and Thigpen.

In hindsight I find that the Bills did well to avoid wasting a pick on a QB. DT and DE are stacked with Kyle Williams, Marcell Dareus, Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes, Stefan Charles, Corbin Bryant, Jairus Wynn and Manny Lawson.

Thankfully next year, we have a first round pick. If we make the playoffs, it will be between picks 21-32, which is better than picking at 50 or missing the playoffs

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
