Mock Draft 10.6.2

Mock Draft...Mock Draft...boy I can't wait for the real thing.

Here we go with my latest and greatest Mock draft

Round 1 Pick 10: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - So I need to be consistent with me. Watson is my top QB on my Board and I am going to take him at 10. He has a lot of talent, he is a natural leader, and has the "IT" factor. always playing his best games under the biggest lights. He should be able to beat out Jones to start the year as a primary back-up to Taylor. While I do not expect him to start this season, should an injury occur to Taylor, Watson has the skill set and leadership ability he might not come off the field.

Round 2 Pick 12: Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida - IMHO a perfect fit for Buffalo, he has the size and speed to be a corner or Safety in the NFL which gives him the positional flexibility that McDermott is looking for. He is also a willing and capable tackler another trait that the new coach want's in players. I seem him starting right away for Buffalo

Round 3 Pick 11: Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State - 6'1" and a 4.42 40 yard dash. Godwin was a very productive WR for Penn State and I will admit one of my favorite players in this draft. He can step in day 1 as a #2 or #3 in Buffalo so we are looking at someone who will see a lot of playing time as a rookie.

Round 5 Pick 12: Josh Harvey-Clemons, SS/OLB, Louisville - One of my favorite sleepers in this draft. A hybrid player as a SS / OLB he will need to add a little weight to play SAM in Buffalo but I can see him do it. As a 5th round pick you don't expect him to start, but he could make a push for playing time early in his career and take over for Alexander or at the very least rotate into the mix. Plus again due to flexibility could see multiple roles on this defense.

Round 5 Pick 27: George Kittle, TE, Iowa - Kid has a good motor. compares to Charles Clay as he has the ability to block and be a pass catcher. Good depth pick with some upside to develop

Round 6 Pick 11: Robert Davis, WR, Georgia State - They say Coach McDermott likes to take shots on small school guys (based on drafts from teams he has been a coach on). Regardless 6th and 7th round picks should be IMHO guys who are lesser known, have some potential, play special teams etc. So why Robert Davis? 1) He is a relative of long time Panthers Linebacker Thomas Davis - Perhaps Thomas has spoken to the Coach. Davis is also the all time leading receiver for the Georgia State Panthers - He is 6' 3" and runs a 4.44 40. Could be a really good sleeper pick for Buffalo has he has both Size and Speed. He is an inch shorter but a little faster than Dezmin Lewis so perhaps onto a new developmental WR since Lewis hasn't seemed to pan out.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
