Per Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com, Ryan and "Bills brass" are en route to Western New York today, with Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News adding that Ryan's introductory press conference will take place on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
News first broke of Ryan's decision to become Bills head coach on Sunday morning, with a contract agreement reached later that afternoon. Buffalo's organizational policy has typically been to make an announcement once the contract is signed, so it's fair to guess that Ryan's John Hancock is now on the reported five-year, $27.5 million deal.
The next shoe to drop, aside from the introductory press conference, will be Ryan getting his coordinators in place. Carucci provided a Monday morning update on that front, as well:
The #Bills are "still working" on getting a deal done w OC Greg Roman. "And Schwartz is still here," a high-ranking source said.
