...as a member of the 2016 L.A. Raiders. He will begin the '16 season as a backup but become the starter due to injury. He will lead his team on a late-season surge, earning L.A. a final Wildcard spot, preceeding a nearly flawless postseason cultiminating in a Super Bowl win. He will retire after one more season as the backup.

Hangartner Back with Panthers

It looks like Geoff Hangartner has re-signed with the Carolina Panthers and will be starting at RG this coming Sunday. I'm sure all of us wish him luck in his new (old) job.

Joique Bell led all his New Orleans Saints teammates rushing and receiving this preseason with 31 carries for 182 yds. and one TD and 9 receptions for 139 yds.

NFLN: Owners pass resolution - up to players.

Looks like the owners are being explained the CBA by league executives right now (6:41 PM Eastern). Players will hold a conference call at 8:00 PM Eastern and vote as well. This could be resolved in an hour or 2 but the fact that the owners have a resolution in hand and are being explained it right now is great news. Update: Owners have passed resolution. Update: Vote was 31-0 with Raiders abstaining. Update: LaConfora says NFLPA won't necessarily vote - still some outstanding issues - global settlement and re-certification

The Big Day

I didn't want to make a new FanPost, so I figured this would be okay. I just wanted to thank Brain and the crew for a great season of reviews on different games and everything else, especially the write-ups based on the draft. This is my first year on Buffalo Rumblings, and this will be the first draft I watch knowing about different players. Great job and keep up the great work guys.

An interesting note

If home playoff games were not awarded to teams for winning their divisions, none of the Eagles, Colts, Chiefs, or winner of the division even the Bills could have won would have been awarded a home game in the first round of the playoffs. It's possible that all four home teams will be underdogs next week.
