Brian's favorite GM candidate gets a looksie from FIeld Gulls.

The Buffalo Bills, who are expected to meet with Mike Shanahan this week about their head coaching position, have also contacted former Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Cowher, according to league sources.

Cowher informed the team that he is not interested in speaking to any clubs about potential jobs until after the season, however, according to the sources, and he could have several options available to him should he opt to return to coaching in 2010.

"Bills OL Eric Wood has a fractured tibia and fibula and is staying in Jacksonville tonight.

Wood is having surgery to re-set the bones. He’s expected back in Buffalo on Monday.

With six weeks left in the season its likely that Wood’s injury is season ending. We’ll get the official update Monday at Perry Fewell’s wrap up press conference."

I am as pro-soldier as anyone, but this is pretty funny I think.

I sure hope Perry finds a way to get Maybin more reps and more involved. I still think that Orakpo was the better choice but it's too late now... He sure is lighting it up in Washington!
