I wish it was just easier to pin all of this on one person or draft choice, but the fact is, the blame is spread pretty thinly. We want to blame Wilson, but he did try to take a step back not that long ago.

In the Wednesday, November 4, 2009 edition of the Buffalo News, they have as the poster at the back of the Sports Page a picture of Ralph Wilson Junior, and inside his silhouette a collage of the Bills All-time team.
The error in that poster is that the picture of who is supposed to be current Bills punter Brian Moorman, is actually a picture of Rian Lindell. Stupid Buffalo News

La Canfora: Bills say Edwards is ready after the bye

Expect to see QB Trent Edwards back on the field for the Bills. And soon.

Edwards, who has missed the last two games after suffering a concussion, is expected back when the Bills return from their bye week, a team source tells NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Edwards has been progressing well and performing better in cognitive testing and should resume full practice soon.

Ryan Fitzpatrick had been starting in Edwards’ absence, leading the Bills to a 1-1 record in his two starts. He has completed 51.4 percent of his passes for 356 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Edwards went down with the concussion in a Week 6 win over the Jets. He has thrown for 985 yards, five touchdowns and six interceptions with a 59.5 completion percentage.

Like this was not to be expected. Sorry Fitzy... you did not do near enough to keep your job. Wait until Trent gets hurt again.

Also, why is DJ's Monday news conference taking so long to post or happen?

Apparently if Daniels and Johnson can get 75 yards each with Slaton adding on another 50, the Texans have a 59% chance of winning.

On the other hand, if Lee Evans can score more than one TD and Buffalo turns the ball over just once, we have a SEVENTY percent chance of winning.

Take it as you will, but those predictions don't seem unreasonable. Final line - Texans 50.3% chance to win.

Great Comment

Great Comment

The reason the Bills rushing defense is worst is because teams have had a couple of long runs (e.g., 60, 70 yards) each game, not because they can run over the Bills every play. This happended mainly when the starting MLB, OLB, SS, FS and CB have been out with injuries. Now that the starting MLB is back, there should be fewer long runs. The real strength of the Bills rushing defense could be seen when Carolina faced fourth and one and decided to go for it with a running play, but the Bills stopped them for a two yard loss. While teams have been running up the yards against the Bills, the last three opponents have scored 6, 13 and 9 points. Actually, if not for two dumb plays at the end of the Patriots and Browns games, the Bills would be 5 - 2 and alone in first in the AFC East.
