Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Broncos wide receiver Eddie Royal did not participate in the team's practice on Wednesday due to a toe injury.
Royal, who has caught 58 passes for 673 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie season out of Virginia Tech, made only two receptions for 14 yards in the team's 31-10 loss to the Oakland Raiders last Sunday.
He previously missed Denver's Week 6 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars due to injury.
Safety Marlon McCree, who has missed the last three games for the 6-5 Broncos with an ankle injury, also did not participate in practice on Wednesday. Cornerback Champ Bailey was limited in Wednesday's practice after missing the last four games with a groin injury.
Denver, which sits in first place atop the NFC West, will take on the New York Jets on Sunday at the Meadowlands.
