Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars made a bevy of roster moves Tuesday including placing punter Adam Podlesh on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Podlesh appeared in all 11 games this season for Jacksonville (4-7), netting an average of 43.2 yards on 46 punts, but suffered a season-ending injury in Sunday's 30-12 loss to Minnesota.
The Jaguars responded by signing free agent punter Steve Weatherford. In his third year in the league, Weatherford was most recently claimed on waivers by Kansas City from New Orleans on October 20 and subsequently was waived after playing in two games.
The Jags also activated tight end George Wrighster and defensive lineman Jeremy Mincey off the physically unable to perform list.
Wrighster has been sidelined with a knee injury and caught 17 passes for 123 yards and a TD in 11 games last season for the Jags. Mincey, who has been dealing with a wrist injury, registered 10 tackles and a sack in six games this past season.
Jacksonville also waived cornerback Omare Lowe and tight end Chris Brown from the practice squad while signing offensive lineman Tim Mattran to the practice squad.
