Giants/Cowboys to remain on Sunday night for Week 15
Sports Network | November 28, 2008
New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NFL announced its final schedule for Week 15 and decided to keep the contest between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys in the Sunday night slot.
There were two time changes. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens have been moved to a 4:15 p.m. (et) start, as has the game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.
The league utilizes its "flexible scheduling" on Sundays from Week 11 through Week 17, trying to ensure quality matchups in all time slots for NBC, FOX and CBS.
With the exception of Week 17, the league will announce its final schedule for a particular week no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. The flexible schedule for Week 17 may be made on six days notice.
